"I first met Marc Chancey in April 2011, when I took my 7 year old AQHA Gelding, Bailey, to him for training. Marc first was recommended to me about a year or so ago by a friend who had used him for a problem with her horse. At that time I was using another trainer. The results from the trainer I was using left me disappointed with my horse. I knew he had the ability to perform and I needed a trainer who would give him the chance. I found that with Marc Chancey. Marc worked with Bailey for 3 months. And in those 3 months he introduced him to sorting cattle and competition and he has done well. I am VERY pleased with what Marc had accomplished with my horse. "Mary and I have sent 2 horses to Marc for training (so far) and we have several friends who have also sent horses to Marc for training. What we have observed is that horses who have been trained by Marc Chancey become more calm and trusting. We took in a mare who had been declared “crazy” by a trainer in Florida. We performed the ground work to get her started, but found that she had deep seated trust issues. This was a horse who could be explosive due to having been in the wrong hands prior to joining our family. It was important to us that our horse become safe and manageable, but it was equally as important that this be done in a gentle and humane manner. We met Marc at one of the Extreme Mustang Makeover competitions and were very impressed with what he was able to do with Wild Mustangs in a short period of time. "My name is Diane Delano, I have been around horses all my life.... I fell in love with the wild horses over 25 years ago......thus I have dedicated my life to helping the American mustang...many years ago I started a non-profit wild horse rescue center in Florida.........We only rehabilitate and gentle them ....I get them ready for saddle training....This was always a problem finding a trainer who could or would understood and work with the mustangs...until I meet Marc Chancey and a few other Extreme Mustang Trainers....I am so glad that the event Extreme Mustang Makeover was started....Marc Chancey stands out in the crowd of other extreme mustang makeover trainers at the event with a mustang who is quite, trusting and a great all around horse...the horse is doing for him with a understanding eye and a trusting heart....if you have not attended a Mustang Extreme Makeover,the event is just unbelievable... what great horseman/women can do in just 100 days or less with these incredible horses....please support and attend a Extreme Mustang Makeover event...I have a mustang stallion who was 12 yrs old and not saddle trained...he was with another trainer for a whole year and she claimed he was to afraid and could not accept being ridden....I really did not feel that about this mustang because he had a great foundation and he is smart, willing and had been a great horse at in- hand at events that we would attend....I took him to Marc....and I still remember the phone call I received after 3 days of Marc having him, Marc called me to say "Just had to call you while I am riding your horse...." Marc did a awesome job with helping my horse understand and accept being ridden....due to my personal funds I was only able to put 7 weeks of training on him, what I received back is quite horse who is very willing and understands what is asked of him....on the trail we had a deer jump out which caused him to want to spook but he pulled right around to a one rein stop and yielded to pressure....he doesn't get afraid...he knows and understands......Marc is really very talented man, and you can see this in his manner of training....he has learned from a life line of great horse trainer...it shows that Marc is a master trainer...he is patience, kind and fair.... the horse is taught by understanding not fear based....when things go wrong the horse is solid...you can only get that by having a true foundation of training.....I have and will recommended Marc as a trainer for any breed of horse but a defined if you own a mustang....his trademark is a horse who is quite, respectful, understanding, responsive and light....in the photo gallery on Marc web site photo 25-28 is Romeo my mustang stallion....who I love dearly, he is wonderful horse and now he is my riding horse too....I thank Marc every time I get to ride him, I am so blessed to have meet Marc......we will always have him work with our horses at our rescue center as well as my personal horses."

"WOW is all I can say. What a difference a month made for Lady. I am so glad that we made the decision to leave her an additional month. We both rode her yesterday in the back and she was quiet, respectful, and very responsive to everything that we asked her to do. You were right, once she got back to the barn and settled in and started getting familar with us and her surroundings it made a difference. Cisco is a completely different horse. He stands quietly, turns properly, listens to cues, etc. Thanks for everything that you have done for our horses. I hope that we have the opportunity to send you additonal clients in the future.
